This year has been like no other, and difficult for us all. In the final Brain Injury Insider of 2020, we reflect on the year, and wish you and your family the very best for 2021.
This year has been like no other. Covid-19 has affected all of us in so many different ways.
Some of us have lost loved ones, for which expressions of condolences are just insufficient. Others may be ill and require ongoing medical care. Some may have lost jobs, or their businesses have failed. Others may be learning to work remotely, or have children in school who are learning remotely.
The inability to share milestones of life, to get together for celebrations like graduations, weddings, or other important moments, have affected all of us.
The inability to share holidays with family and friends are particularly tough at this time of the year.
The loss of security and safety, and the Associated Isolation, makes it difficult for all of us trying to cope.
At this time of the year we wish you all strength to endure and prevail. And we wish you restful sleep.
We wish that the new year brings peace, happiness and comfort to you and your family, and eventually a return to the new normal.
As we move into the new year and hopefully a better year, I wish you moments of peace, and comfort, and warmth in the memories from the past, and the wonderful glimpses of joy that live below the surface.
And may you and your family be blessed with happiness, and good cheer in the new year.
