TTBI is the abbreviation for Traumatic Brain Injury. TBI occurs when a force is applied to the head, causing damage to the brain within the skull. This injury can happen in various ways, including:

  • Falls: When the head strikes an object or surface.
  • Blows to the Head: Caused by an object striking the head.
  • Sudden, Violent Movements: Such as whiplash during a car accident.
